5:55am | Marathon briefing
6:00am | Marathon start
8:45am | Cut-off at 17.5km | 2 hours 45 minutes
9:45am | Presentation (top 3 overall) & random draw prizes
10:30am | Cut-off at 32.3km | 4 hours 30 minutes
12:00pm | Total course cut-off | 6 hours
All Marathon runners are automatically entered in the random draw as many marathon runners will still be on course at 9:30am.
Starts & Timing
To help minimise congestion on the course, runners will be released from the start area in groups every 1 minute.
Your official result will be based on your chip time, which starts when you cross the start line.
Important: If you are aiming for an overall top-three male or female position, you must start with the starting gun.
Overall podium positions are determined using gun time, while age group results are calculated using chip time.
Age category prizes & random draw prizes are given after 9:30am presentation.

All water stations and the finish line will have water, Endura Lemon Lime electrolytes, coca-cola, ginger beer, lolly snakes and salted chips.
*At the Showground water station, runners can also place gear on a table for retrieval during the event and support crew can assist runners only at this point.
