Key Information
The Coffs Coast Kia Nyami and Jaanybarr of the Creek is a race in which runners complete the 10km, then the 21.1km and finally the 5km event to make a total distance of 36.1km.
Cost: $70 or or $85 for late entries on Saturday 9th September 2023 in-person at Coffs Harbour Showground
Minimum age: 16 years (as at 10/09/2023)
Walkers are not permitted.
Race start: 07:00am sharp for the 10km – leg 1. (Race Briefing: 06:50am)
Due to the narrow paths and twists on the course, runners must complete each distance before their next distance starts. If the 10km or 21.1km are not completed by the time the next distance start, then runners will be unable to continue on.
Leg 1 Cut Off: Runners must finish the 10km by 08:10am (1hr 10mins) and start with the 21.1km event.
Leg 2 Cut Off: Runners must finish the 21.1km by 10:30am (2hr 20mins) and start with the 5km event.
There is not cut off to complete the 5km.
Runners who finish a distance before the start of the next event will have the opportunity to rest until the start of the next race.
It is recommended that runners who have not completed at 21.1km distance before do not participate in the 36.1km event.

06:30 – 36.1km bib collection closes
06:50 – 36.1km race briefing
07:00 – 10km race start (36.1km leg 1)
08:10 – 21.1km race start (36.1km leg 2)
10:30 – 5km race (36.1km leg 3)
11:30 – presentation and random draw
The male winner will have earnt the title of Garluunnggi Buluunggal-gundi Jaanybarr (First male of the Creek)
The female winner will have earnt the title Garluunnggi Buluunggal-gundi Nyami (First female of the Creek)
Both male and female winners will have their names engraved on a perpetual trophies.
Participants will also be eligible for overall and age category placing for the 10km, 21.1km and 5km.
All finishers will have their name on the Honour Roll.
T-Shirts are given as prizes to top 3 male and female overall in the Coffs Coast Kia Nyami and Jaanybarr of the Creek.
