HQB Half Marathon

Key Information

The HQB Half Marathon features a new iconic 1 lap course.

Runners take in the Coffs Creek Walkway and Botanic Gardens before crossing a closed Orlando Street bridge and head out to the stunning Jetty Foreshores. 

Spectacular scenery awaits as runners go out to the end of the North Wall, the Coffs Harbour Jetty and South Wall on the way out, plus the end of the Coffs Harbour Jetty on the way back.

Runners then cross back again at the ramp at the Fisherman’s Co-op, cross at Orlando Street bridge and run back to the Showground along the gravel paths and boardwalks to complete a 1 lap half marathon course.

Race start: 6:00am

Course cut-off at 16.3km: 2 hours 30 minutes (8:30am) 

Total course cut-off: 3 hours 15 minutes (9:15am)

Cost: $60

Minimum age on race day: 16 years

Event Schedule

Saturday 13th September 2025

2:00pm to 4:00pm – race bib collection and late entries at Coffs Harbour Showground

TBC – Run Nation Film Festival at Sawtell Cinema

Sunday 14th September 2025

5:30am to 5:55am- race bib collection at Coffs Harbour Showground

5:55am – Half Marathon race briefing

6:00am – Half Marathon race start

10:00am – presentation and random draw prizes

Prizes

1st male and female overall: Names on perpetual trophy, engraved glassware, event shirt and hat or sock

2nd & 3rd male and female overall: Engraved glassware and event shirt

1st in age category: Event shirt

2nd & 3rd in age category: Event hat or sock

Age categories for both male and female: 16-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70-79 years and 80+ years.

  • 8.6km – Coffs Harbour Jetty*
  • 9.3km – Coffs Harbour Jetty*
  • 13.9km – Coffs Harbour Jetty*
  • 14.6km – Coffs Harbour Jetty*
  • 18.5km – Hogbin Drive Underpass
  • 20.5km – Melittas Avenue

*The Coffs Harbour Jetty water station will be a ‘full’ aid station with water, electrolytes, coca-cola, ginger beer, lollies, chips and watermelon.
